CIG Hosts Real Estate Investment Seminar on Oct 13th in Burlingame, CA

CIG will be hosting a complimentary Real Estate Investment Seminar on Thu, October 13th at the Hyatt Regency in Burlingame, CA. The seminar will last from 6:30pm 8:00pm and will be followed by an Investor reception at their corporate office on the Bay across the street.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Mr. Steve Schisler Balancing Your Portfolio
Mr. Schisler is CEO of PrimeCorp, a company that he founded in 1988. PrimeCorp provides comprehensive financial planning, savings and investment management, and retirement and estate planning. In addition, Mr. Schisler helps his clients plan business and wealth transfer strategies to help them maximize their returns, while minimizing risk. Steve has written countless articles on financial planning, analyzing portfolio risk, and proper asset allocation and has been a frequent radio talk show speaker in the greater Sacramento area. Mr. Schisler is a licensed securities broker with over 20 years of experience, who earned the National Leadership Award for his work in promoting the Presidents small business agenda in 2000.

Mr. Neil Reizman ֖ Investment Types and Legal Entities
Mr. Reizman is CIG Realty and Loans Vice President of Real Estate Investments. In this role, he is responsible for managing the companyҒs investor pool and evaluating and recommending investment options. Prior to joining CIG, Neil spent many years counseling clients on both real estate and business law, as part of large national law firms and in private practice. Mr. Reizman is an expert in a myriad of real estate investments, including 1031 exchanges, 1031 Tenant in Common (group ownership of institutional quality real estate) exchanges, and the purchase and sale of real property. Neil graduated with a law degree from UC Berkeley and holds a BA in Political Science and a MBA in Finance from UCLA. He is also a licensed Series 7 and 63 securities broker.

Mr. Mitch Kossar Overview of Real Estate Finance and Financing Options
Mr. Kossar is CIG Realty and Loan’s Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he is responsible for managing the companys P&L, cash flow, assets and overall growth. Before joining CIG, Mitch spent over 10 years as a management consultant advising Fortune 500 companies on strategic direction, operations and risk assessment.  His clients ranged in size from $10 Million to $100 Billion. Mitch is a licensed Real Estate Broker and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). After graduating with an Economics and Engineering degree from Dartmouth College, he received his MBA in Finance from UCLA's Anderson School.

CIG Pledges Support to Hurricane Katrina Victims

In keeping with its goal of corporate and social responsibility, CIG is committing to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. Along with its donation of $1,000 to the American Red Cross, CIG is pledging to match up to $50 per employee contribution. “During this time of global tension and the fact that more than half the world lives in poverty, we must do all we can to help those who can’t help themselves”, said David Chan, CEO of CIG Realty and Loans. “The shareholders and employees of CIG are proud to do what we can to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.”

CIG Corp Announces CIG Academy Expansion

In partnership with First Century Banc Corp, CIG Corp is pleased to announce the July opening of its third training center. The Southern California center will offer the same full curriculum and quality training which has been the hallmark of CIG Academys success. Since its inception, CIG Academy has been growing at an incredible 25% growth rate, now training over 40 students per month, in both English and Chinese. The company will also soon be offering training in Spanish, as well. CIG Academy offers training on every aspect of real estate contracts and disclosures, loan financing and production, sales and marketing and the nuts and bolts of investing.

“Our Academy has been so successful that other brokerages have asked us to train their agents”, said David Chan, CEO of CIG Corp.

“People want quality education and we deliver” live instruction, Internet based training and self study.

CIG Corp Opens Third Full Service Branch Office

Continuing its goal to provide real estate services throughout California, CIG Corp is pleased to announce the opening of its third full service branch. The San Jose office, located at 5300 Stevens Creek Blvd., will offer CIGs full suite of services, including: real estate, loans, real estate investments and training.

“Opening this branch hits an important milestone for us”, said David Chan, CEO of CIG Corp. “Having a presence in San Jose extends our ability to service an increasingly diverse and geographically dispersed California population. We are looking forward to providing our unique blend of services to this important market.”

CIG Corp Announces Burlingame Office Expansion

On the heels of an incredible 2004 as CIG grew at a torrid 20% monthly pace, CIG is pleased to announce its new office location at 1350 Old Bayshore Highway. The move to the 5,000 square foot office provides CIG the opportunity to grow its training business and offer more services to its customers.

“We have been bursting at the seams for some time now and are happy to have found a wonderful location to house our SF Peninsula team. With this move, we’ll be able to better service our agents, customers and employees,” said David Chan, CEO of CIG Corp.

CIG Corp Announces Hiring of New Management Member

Neil Reizman brings a unique combination of both investment and law related experience to CIG Corp.  Neil will initially oversee activities related to CIG’s hard money lending program and will ultimately run other investment related activities for CIG Corp. including a hard money fund, real estate development projects and activities related to 1031 exchanges.

Before joining CIG Corp, Neil counseled legal clients on both real estate and corporate related matters, including issues related to 1031 exchanges, the purchase and sale of real property, secured lending transactions, leases and a variety of other corporate and real estate related issues.  Neil also acted as a business consultant to an industrial real estate firm, where he helped the company develop a financing strategy for the construction of airplane hangars as well as secure redevelopment assistance to refurbish a warehouse facility in a blighted area.   Prior to founding his own law practice, Neil was affiliated with Centaur Partners and Osprey Ventures, where he worked as both an investment banker and as an investment analyst focusing on venture capital backed technology companies.  Prior to holding this position, Neil worked as a business transactions attorney for large corporate law firms in Los Angeles. Neil holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall, where he graduated with several academic distinctions.  Neil also holds a Masters of Business Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles , Anderson School of Management, where he focused on courses related to finance and entrepreneurship. Neil also earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles , where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. Neil also possesses both a Series 7 and a Series 63 securities license.

CIG is pleased to announce the addition of Ms. Kimberlie Cerrone to its management team as corporate General Counsel. In this capacity, Kimberlie is responsible for directing all aspects of CIGs legal responsibilities, contracts, and negotiations. Kimberlie has more than 25 years of strategic planning, deal making and international business and legal experience. In 1987, she co-founded Neurobiological Technologies, led its business development, regulatory affairs and financing efforts for three years, and served on its Board of Directors prior to its initial public offering in 1994. Ms. Cerrone has been chief financial officer, general counsel or business development vice president at seven venture capital-backed companies, most recently Everypath and Net Perceptions. She has also represented several other successful companies, including Yahoo!, Ariba and Target Therapeutics, while practicing at two of Silicon Valley's top law firms, Gunderson Dettmer and Venture Law Group.

Kimberlie graduated from the University of Illinois where she was recognized as an Edmund James Scholar. She earned a Master of Science degree in biochemical pharmacology from New York University. She was awarded a Master of Business Administration degree from University of San Francisco and was admitted to the National Beta Gamma Sigma Society. She graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Kimberlie is admitted to practice patent law before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
